This very cheap and valuable calcium product does not contain any compounds which are harmful for people and plants. It is a natural enhancement for many species of flowers and crops. It does not matter what colour the shells are (white or orange) and whether they come from organic or caged farming. They are all perfectly suited for use in the garden, in the pot and in any agro-horticultural crop.
Our product is very finely processed eggshells. The ground particles reach an approximate nano-system, resulting in a higher value of applicability. They can be mixed with the top layer of the substrate or poured into the pot when planting young plants or sprinkled under the stem and watered. Crusts are an excellent and natural source of calcium (in the form of calcium carbonate), which is essential for plants, especially those that grow best in alkaline (pH above 7.2) or neutral (pH 6.6 - 7.2) soils. They are excellent for deacidifying acidic soils. Therefore, they can be safely used to feed vegetables (tomatoes, courgettes, onions, beans, cabbage), fruit (vines) and ornamental plants (lavender, peonies, lilacs, hellebores, dogwoods and many rockery plants). They are also great as a fertilizer for many domestic potted plants.
But do not use them to feed acid-loving plants (especially blueberries, heathers, heathers, rhododendrons and potted azaleas, ferns and orchids).
